Forest Plan Implementation to Date

This subject will provide information on activities allowed by the Forest Plan since 1997. Activities will include timber harvest, road development, adjustments made to Old Growth Reserves by Forest Plan amendments, and other topics relative to the conservation strategy. The Tongass has also conducted a 5 Year Review of the Forest Plan and developed a Forest Plan Maintenance Program in response to that review, both of which include findings and information relative to the conservation strategy.
